"STAY ON YOUR FEET"
A FALLS PREVENTION MUSICAL THEATRE PROJECT
It’s all about
preventing injuries from falls in older adults.
Chose from four different shows: Each play is
an entertaining lesson about common hazards in
the home or around town, and offers clear, simple
tips and advice on how to stay safe.
Falls prevention is a serious concern. In Grey
& Bruce Counties, Ontario, Canada, we have
consistently had a higher rate of hospitalization
that the provincial average. Spending our health
care dollars on prevention is a wise choice. Injuries
from falls, and fear of falling, lead to a serious
decline in the quality of life. Yet we know that
most falls are predictable and preventable and
there is much we can do.
You can be a part of what can be done.

complexes, parks and seniors’ centres. The troupes
in Durham, Walkerton, Wiarton and Owen Sound have met
with such success and are having so much fun that they
are continuing to perform indefinitely. For availability
contact the actors below.
